Inside the 6ft Double Hutch

At 180cm, the hutch matches the 6ft length the Rabbit Welfare Association and Fund (RWAF) recommends as a minimum for a hutch. Its 10mm timber side panels and 13mm plywood floors are treated with a pet-safe wood preservative and built-in legs keep the base clear of damp ground.

Upgraded mesh with half-inch squares and strong door bolts are designed to keep predators out. An arched, divided bedding area gives your pets a quiet place to sleep. A central wire panel holds a water bottle, and swivel kick-boards make cleaning straightforward.

How the Hutch Hugger™ works

Fitting takes a couple of minutes. Hook the straps under the rear legs, drop the Hugger over the hutch, then adjust the straps and press the Velcro closed.

The clear front window lets you see your pets without lifting anything. At feeding or cleaning time, lift or roll up the front while the rest of the cover stays put. Drier bedding and fresher food mean less waste over the winter months.

The 6ft Double Hutch is for owners who want to give a bonded pair of rabbits, or a group of guinea pigs, as much hutch space as possible. Yes. The Hugger in this bundle is made for the 6ft Double Hutch at 181 x 65.5 x 123cm, so you don't need to measure anything first.

Is a 6ft hutch big enough for two rabbits?
At 180cm long, this hutch meets the 6ft minimum hutch length recommended by the RWAF. Rabbits also need a secure run available to exercise properly.

Can I clean the hutch without taking the cover off?
